It's Going to Get...

"BETTER"
This week is a "Don't Cease" Moment." Our "Don't Cease" moments are our moments of encouragement that we do from time to time to help you push through and against whatever is trying to hold you back, keep you down, and turn you away from your path, your purpose, and your ability to persevere.

This week's "Don't Cease" moment is rooted in the word "BETTER" because you have to know that you are in the process of "BETTER" and even if you can't feel it or it doesn't LOOK like it, "BETTER" is most definitely on the way.

Ecclesiastes 7:8 reminds us that, "The end of a matter is better than its beginning and patience is better than pride" (NIV). Let this be of encouragement to you because if the scriptures state that the end of a matter is "BETTER" than its beginning and we also know from the scriptures, Psalm 30:5, to be exact, that "weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning", this lets us know that nothing lasts forever, which means that everything that begins has an ending and therefore if the end of a matter is "BETTER" than the beginning of it, and knowing that the scriptures cannot lie because the Word of God is truth, then we can rest assured on the fact that what we see today, what we feel today, what we are facing today, is only temporary, which means it will end and because it ends, "THINGS WILL GET BETTER", we just have to be patient as we await. The reward in knowing this is rooted in the fact that for all those things that are outside of our control, God always remains in control which means that in order to see our "BETTER" our only job is not try to "control" the battle, to "run" from the battle, nor to "provoke" the battle, but our job is to simply "BELIEVE" that we have "WON" the battle because GOD DOES NOT AND CANNOT FAIL which means that at some point we will get the victory and see "BETTER"! We must allow Him to fight with us and for us!

You might get discouraged. I can't tell you not to. You might become afraid. I can't tell you not to. You might get tired. I can't tell you not to. You might get frustrated. I can't tell you not to. We are all human, and we will all have moments when we are going to kick, scream, yell, and cry to release the hurt and the pain that we feel. And the truth is that I can't tell you not to. However, while I can't tell you not to, God can say whatever He wants to say, and God said to King Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah and Jerusalem in 2 Chronicles 20:15," Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s" (NIV).

No matter how vast your trials may seem this week, trust the one who fights your battles. God has commanded us not to fear or be discouraged because He is doing the fighting on our behalf. Is it sometimes hard to let go and let God do the fighting? Of course it is, especially when we lack the trust that we need to rest our assurance on God. But it seems to me that if in this week you are finding that your way is not working and that no matter how hard you try, the mountain is not moving, what will it hurt you to give it a shot and exercise your faith and let God show you what He can do?

If you have no options left, what will it hurt you to just trust God to do it?

If you have no other way out, what harm will it cause you to just "BELIEVE" in what God has said?

I challenge you to "TRY GOD" as your option this week if you want to see the "BETTER" that you've been praying and hoping for. When it seems that the odds are against you, trusting God is never a risk. Although some of us use it as our last result, there is no risk in it because God always "WINS". The only risk is when we don't trust Him enough to see Him as the only option! The risk is when we don't believe that He'll do the things that He said He'll do. The risk is when we choose to live our lives without Him. No matter where you are this week, Go for YOUR WIN, GET YOUR BETTER, TRUST GOD and WATCH HIM WORK! Most importantly, "DON'T CEASE" because God won't!
God
ALWAYS
WINS

Sometimes when we share our dreams with people or we find ourselves in unfortunate situations, those same people that we expect to be a source of comfort speak negatively over our circumstances. They laugh at what we say we will accomplish. They find humor in the situation that we find ourselves in. They laugh at our belief that we will conquer what we are facing. This can result not only in a blow to our confidence, but it can be discouraging. However, follow Jesus' example and "Let Them Laugh!" When "man" laughs at what God said you WILL do, they best be prepared to see you RISE!

It creeps up when you least expect it. It is so slick and so invisible that if you're not careful, it will take control and before you know it you're trying to shake this feeling that you can't describe. It's making you doubt that what you want will never happen and it has you feeling like you have no energy left. Let me introduce you to that slick emotion known as discouragement but be careful not to entertain him. Read this post and kick discouragement to the curb.

Is your lack of patience hindering your ability to increase your faith and make it a consistent effort? Many times we think that we don't have faith because
we just aren't equipped to do so but have you ever pondered the idea that it may not be your faith, but it may be your patience that is the real problem. Here we start to discuss the correlation between faith and patience.
